​This is a short piece to thank those of you who have bothered to contact me regarding my opinions, ideas and love of this great sport of ours. So far, surprisingly, I have received no criticism, though as criticism will ordinarily lead to discussion and debate this is not necessarily a good thing. I would especially like to thank William Halliday for his support for my views regarding Spanish Steps. Unforgivably, due to ‘having a lot on recently’ I failed to reply to his comments due to being ‘timed out’.
